Transport fares and policy rules can change. When your case is urgent, ask a question and include your route/time.
Transportation Basics
You can buy and charge it at convenience stores, subway stations, Incheon Airport arrival hall convenience stores/vending machines, and tourist information centers in Myeong-dong and Jongno.
Basic cards are about 2,500 KRW and character designs are about 4,000 KRW. Balance is added separately.
It works on subways, buses, convenience stores, and taxis.
Yes. Transfers between buses and subways are free for T-money users (within 30 minutes; 1 hour between 9pm–7am).
It requires the exact fare to your destination plus a 500 KRW refundable deposit. Transfers are not available.
Yes. T-money users receive a 100 KRW discount off the adult fare per ride.
You can refund remaining balance at convenience stores or subway stations, and a 500 KRW service fee applies. The card itself is not refundable.
Tourist Passes
It’s a transportation card for international tourists with up to 20 rides per day. Additional funds can be loaded, but it cannot be used for taxis and may not be accepted at convenience stores.
Subway lines, the airport railroad all-stop train, Seoul city buses, and Jeju city buses.
MPASS has 1/2/3/5/7-day options. It starts when first used and expires at midnight on the last day.
Incheon Airport Tourist Information Center (gates 5 & 10), Myeong-dong Tourist Information Center, Seoul Station Tmoney Town, and Jeju Airport Tourist Information Center.
It’s a card that works as a T-money card and a free-admission pass to major attractions. It offers 24-, 48-, and 72-hour versions and discount benefits.

No. The mobile pass cannot be used as a T-money card.
Reload at convenience stores or Tmoney service desks at subway stations. Refunds are available at convenience stores and Tmoney service desks for balances up to 30,000 KRW, and at Tmoney service desks for balances up to 50,000 KRW (500 KRW fee).
